Acceptance

By using Workbook Tools you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Lawful and authorized use

You may use the service only lawfully and only with workbooks you are authorized to process. Do not attempt to disrupt, abuse, or reverse engineer the service.

Your files and outputs

You remain responsible for source workbooks, permissions, accuracy, backups, filters, and exported CSV or JSON. Check outputs before relying on them.

Embedded ChatGPT editor

XLSX Editor by Loamstack works with the workbook you select through the ChatGPT extension host. Host permissions and file-version checks determine whether it can save changes. Unsaved edits can be lost when the editor closes or reloads. Keep originals and check saved outputs before relying on them.

The editor supports a bounded subset of XLSX features and formula behavior. Preserving an original workbook does not mean every feature can be edited or recalculated. Stored formula results can be stale, and opening a workbook does not certify its calculations or business logic. Unsupported or unsafe operations may fail. Macros and external data connections are not executed. The extension does not control Microsoft Excel, discover unrelated local files or provide complete Excel compatibility.

Remote MCP and AI help

The XLSX Formula Checker MCP processes inputs explicitly supplied to its remote tools. You authorize us to process those inputs to return the requested result. Optional AI help sends the supplied formula, question and context to OpenRouter and its selected model provider. Do not submit data you lack permission to share.

Formula evaluation supports a bounded subset of spreadsheet behavior. Unsupported functions, dependencies and workbook features may prevent a result. AI suggestions can be incorrect. Check formulas and outputs in your target spreadsheet application before relying on them. The MCP does not control Microsoft Excel or save changes to your local files.

Availability and changes

The service may be changed, interrupted, or withdrawn without guarantee. We may suspend access that threatens the service or violates these terms.

Intellectual property

You retain rights in your files. Shipit Software Limited and its licensors retain rights in the service, interface, and underlying software.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. It is not a substitute for professional advice or a validated data workflow.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shipit Software Limited is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service.

Termination, privacy, and governing law

You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict misuse. Our Privacy policy explains data handling. These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and we may update them by posting a revised date.
